These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the れんらくちょう / CommNote (Renrakucho) app for mobile devices and any related services (collectively, the "Application"), operated by Gen Takagaki (the "Service Provider"). By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

For the iOS version of the Application, your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA with respect to the iOS version, the Standard EULA governs to the extent of the conflict.

The Application lets close groups such as couples and families share day-to-day information — lists ("れんらく"), rules and agreements ("きめごと"), and expense records ("おかね"). You are responsible for the content you add and for sharing it only with people you intend to. Do not use the Application for any unlawful purpose or to upload content you do not have the right to share.

The Application offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, "れんらくちょうプレミアム / CommNote Premium", which unlocks premium features for the members of a group.

• Title: れんらくちょうプレミアム / CommNote Premium
• Plans and price: Monthly (¥490 per month) or Yearly (¥4,900 per year). Prices may vary by region and are shown in the Application before purchase.
• Free trial: A 7-day free trial may be offered. If you do not cancel during the free trial, it automatically converts to a paid subscription.
• Group unlock: A subscription is associated with a single group (shared notebook). When one member subscribes, Premium is enabled for all members of that group.
• Auto-renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google account) at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your device's account settings (App Store or Google Play) after purchase. Uninstalling the Application does not cancel a subscription.
• Free trial forfeiture: Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled according to the policies of the App Store or Google Play. The Service Provider generally cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases.

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that data will always be available or preserved.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Application.

The Service Provider may modify or discontinue the Application or any feature at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an effective date. Your continued use of the Application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
